Signal watch still works because it uses someother form of signal that supes can detect) anyways, if someone's attack came faster than the speed of sound; its why you can still shoot him without him reacting 1st if he doesn't see you about to shoot him. So supes wouldnt be able to hear their heartbeat and detect maliciousness first. And anyways, people's heartbeats race for all sorts of reasons, you could only really judge a person by their heartbeat if you had heard their heartbeat under a control situation first.
